OrphanMine is a database designed to allow the exploration of patterns in bacterial gene distribution. There are three different methods for exploring the data in OrphanMine:

Define your own dataset of predicted proteins using the filters provided.
Explore the 4 pre-computed orphan datasets.
Search for taxonomically restricted genes in your genome of interest.
